Mama Grizzley
Near Togwotee Pass Wyoming
It was May and near the top of Togwotee Pass there was still abundant snow piled on either side of road, The road was dry, and I was near the pass when a Mama Grizzley and two cubs appeared in front of me on the snowbank. I stopped and the cubs dropped below the snowbank, but Mama paced back and forth on top giving me "the Look" as I photographed her from the car with my heart pounding. Unforgettable moments.
