The El Pinon movie theatre (permanently shuttered) is still at the church plaza center of Abiquiu. The sign remains with the neon tubes calling us to a period of time in the past. The great artist Georgia O'Keefe lived by the church plaza and could easily see and walk to the El Pinon. November 2023. Photo © copyright by Gary Silvey.
