Isolation
The Palouse Washington
I was photographing this old one room rural school in wind and rain. I kept walking around the school photographing up close and then wider-angle photos. I could not capture what the scene was telling me, but this second to last image spoke to what I felt there. The trees stand as windbreaks against the school. There is a sense of history and also loneliness of times past. Notice the grass and trees bending to the left from wind during the rain. One of my favorites for the memory. June 13, 2020.
