Zodiac boat heads to Aran Islands

Atlantic Ocean

The bay water was not deep enough for the ship to come closer, so zodiac boats were used to shuttle people from ship to port and back. The village of Kilronan on Inishmore Island. The largest of the three islands which make up The Aran Islands. This photo was taken as the zodiac zipped toward Kilronan. You can see the ship and a returning zodiac in the distant.
