This photograph was taken at the location where Ansel Adams created his famous "The Tetons and the Snake River" photograph. The landscape had changed since his 1942 photo. The trees had grown blocking much of the snake river. This photo is at dawn with the moon setting behind the Tetons. October 14, 2019. Photo © copyright by Gary Silvey.
